(What's New)

Here's a list of changes made to the generator in reverse chronological order.

• 16 Jul 1999 - For the first time in over a year and a half, I've added a new feature. The Alienator is finally implemented. Let me know what you think or if you find any problems.
• 2 Mar 1999 - I've finally created a logo. It's not as fancy as I wanted, but it'll do for now. I've wanted to do an almost complete overhaul on the site for a while, but it appears that's just not going to happen. Therefore, look for small, incremental changes to occur in the future.
• 12 Nov 1998 - Has it really been a year? Rest assured I haven't forgotten about the Generator and have been making updates to the source files all along. Additionally, I just made some minor changes to the Kewlifier and the Possibilities.
• 12 Nov 1997 - Added villain, hero team, and villain team generation.
• 29 Jul 1997 - Added super power generation.
• 23 Jul 1997 - Added ability to generate 20 names. (Up from a maximum of 10.)
• 18 May 1997 - Modified background to make text more readable. Removed some tables I added temporarily to make things easier to read with Netscape.
• 16 May 1997 - Many changes, most purely internal to the actual script. The most obvious change is a new starting URL ( http://home.hiwaay.net/~lkseitz/comics/herogen/). I recommend changing your bookmark, but the old one will automatically redirect you there regardless of what browser you're using for now.
  Netscape users will see the most differences. (But is should still look reasonably good on most browsers. If it doesn't, let me know!) I realize the background is hard to see on some machines, so I'll try to make it a little lighter soon.
• 11 May 1997 - Added background to all HTML pages. (Let me know what you think.)
• 08 Apr 1997 - Changed Marvelizer to add Mutant to power source. Implemented anti-clones on all categories. Put 10 entries in two columns.
• 06 Mar 1997 - Added the possibilities. Fixed Kewlifier bug that put "e" at end of "Cyber-". Now remove prefix dashes. Moved view hero source into form.
• 05 Mar 1997 - Added Anti-Clone Guarantee.
• 12 Oct 1996 - Changed "Vehicle" to "Transporation."
• 02 Oct 1996 - Begin major revision of form.
• 06 Aug 1996 - Added Girl to Grrrl and s to z conversion in Kewlifier.
• 22 Apr 1996 - Added c to k conversion in Kewlifier.
• 15 Apr 1996 - Added Kewlifier.
• 09 Apr 1996 - Added Hero Mail link and the Marvelizer.
• 03 Apr 1996 - Added Secret Origin and Super Thanks links.
• 29 Mar 1996 - Added multiple name generation plus weapon, vehicle, and power source generation.
• 28 Mar 1996 - First appearance.
